Fitted with a bellyhold cargo volume of 90 cbm, the B777-200LR, which makes a stop in Barcelona (Spain) before continuing on its journey, is capable of carrying approximately 15 t of cargo in addition to a full passenger load.
Marking the importance of this new gateway in the Americas, the high profile delegation on board the inaugural flight included H.E. Ahmed Hatem Barghash Al Menhali, UAE ambassador to Mexico, and H.E. Francisca Elizabeth Méndez Escobar, Mexican ambassador to the UAE, but also Jannie Davel, Emirates’ VP cargo commercial for the Americas. (ah)
