Ethiopian Airlines more often to Tel Aviv and new to Tokyo
The focus of the ITJ issue 43-44 - out today - reveals that Israel is to get more air links. Ethiopian Airlines is increasing its Addis Ababa – Tel Aviv offer from seven to twelve weekly flights, with effect from 26 October. However, in contrast to our report in the printed version of the ITJ, the East African carrier will only begin to operate a double daily service on this route from 15 December 2014.
Ethiopian Airlines also announced that it will launch flights to Japan on 1 April 2015. The thrice-weekly B787 service will operate on the Addis Ababa, Hong Kong and Tokyo Narita route. As a result of the new offer, the number of connections to Hong Kong will increase from four to seven per week.
