Fleet rejuvenation for Elsen
The Elsen group of companies has purchased twelve new tractors to rejuvenate its fleet once again. The new vehicles have modern equipment and can be deployed across various sectors. This enables the German forwarder to react flexibly to customer demands which are becoming increasingly diverse.
Elsen has reacted to this by steadily adding new business sectors to its portfolio. A test phase for temperature-controlled transport services has already commenced. The forwarding enterprise said it is also exploring other fields of interest, such as electromobility and autonomous driving.
In the mid-term, the significance of these technologies will be reflected by speeding up fleet renewals. (ben)
