Fraport augments executive board

Pierre Dominique Prümm has been appointed to the executive board of the German airport operator Fraport, as of 1 July 2019. He was selected by the company’s supervisory board.

Prümm will assume responsibility for flight operations and terminal management, corporate security and central infrastructure management fields. The appointment goes hand in hand with a reallocation of responsibilities in the executive board.

Karlheinz Weimar, supervisory board chairman, declared: "The aviation market as a whole will continue to change profoundly over the next few years. Given this, Fraport will be faced with many multi-facetted challenges. It is therefore logical to expand the executive board and allocate the tasks to more shoulders."

Prümm, who has worked for the Frankfurt airport operator since 2006, was most recently responsible for the aviation division. (mw)
