GAC wins Caspian Sea contracts with Petronas
GAC’s marine branch in Turkmenistan has been awarded two contracts by Petronas Carigali, a subsidiary of Petronas, to provide marine services for its development of the Garagol Deniz west field.
GAC Marine will supply three anchor-handling vessels manned by experienced crew and kitted out with specialist on-board equipment to provide critical 24-hour support for the drilling operations. This includes transporting personnel and equipment from the onshore supply base to offshore facilities and between offshore rigs and platforms, oil spill response, accommodation, standby and emergency response support.
GAC Marine has also secured a three-year contract to provide a tug supply vessel to support Petronas Carigali’s ongoing operations. (mw)
