Garbe Industrial Real Estate buys logistics space
Garbe Industrial Real Estate has purchased a 32,000 sqm logistics area in the growth region of Hanover (Germany). "Currently there is still an existing building on the site, but we will demolish it to make room for new logistics facilities," says managing director Jan Dietrich Hempel.
A logistics hall with a total of almost 16,000 sqm of space is planned in Langenhagen, although the detailed design is still pending. Hempel: "We are currently talking to potential tenants and looking at how their requirements can be integrated in a meaningful way."
However, the company has already given the green light for the project. Following the demolition of the existing buildings, construction of the new facilities is to begin in the third quarter of 2020. (mw)
