Greiwing inaugurates new hub

After a successful trial period, logistics services provider Greiwing has officially inaugurated its new subsidiary in Burghausen (Bavaria, Germany). The facility took around 16 month to build and cost EUR 35 million.

“By opening our new subsidiary we have again strengthened our position in the chemical industry’s major locations,” says CEO and shareholder Jürgen Greiwing.

With about 80 employees, the Burghausen hub will focus on providing contract logistics for customers from the chemical parks in Burghausen and Burgkirchen. The new logistics centre is directly linked to a terminal for combined traffic which also allows for cargo to be carried by rail. (mw)
