Honours to K Line’s president

Yoichi Hasegawa, a former senior managing executive officer of the Japanese shipping company K Line, and current president and CEO of Taiyo Nippon Kisen Co Ltd (TNKC), one of K Line’s consolidated ship management companies, has been awarded the degree of Doctor Honoris Causa by Nikola Y. Vaptsarov Naval Academy. Bulgarian officers currently serve aboard about 30 TNKC ship management vessels. Some 400 Bulgarian officers have been hired by TNKC group for the task.
