Indian Railways and South Korea teaming up

Indian Railways plans to cooperate with South Korea in the rail sector's technical field. To support this, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed by the South Korean ministry of land infrastructure and transport and India's rail service provider.

Thanks to the MoU, the two countries' railways will be able to cooperate and provide technical assistance in the high speed railway sector, in the modernisation of rolling stock, railway operations, the modernisation of signalling, construction and maintenance technologies, as well as in the development of logistics parks and terminals.
