Intrepid delivers Turkish and ALC Sichuan Airlines
source site Intrepid Aviation has delivered its first A330-300 under a long-term lease to Istanbul-based Turkish Airlines.
"We are very pleased to hand over the first of seven A330-300s that will be delivered to Turkey’s flag carrier over the coming few months," commented Doug Winter, Intrepid’s president and CCO. "We appreciate the strong relationship we have forged with Turkish Airlines, a major operator of A330s."
Another US commercial aircraft lessor, Los Angeles CA-based Air Lease Corporation, is to send an Airbus A350-900 new technology wide body jet on a long term lease to Sichuan Airlines in Chengdu (China). The aircraft will be handed over in Q1/2019 from ALC’s order book with Airbus.
The A350-900 will be primarily operated across the Pacific, linking major cities in China with the USA and Canada. (ah)
