Johannesburg and Leipzig - global partners
Airports Company South Africa (Acsa), the owner and manager of South Africa's nine principal airports, and Mitteldeutsche Airport Holding, representing Leipzig/Halle airport (Germany), signed a cooperation agreement during last week's Air Cargo Africa 2015 Conference and Exhibition.
The partnership pact, inked by Acsa COO Tebogo Mekgoe (right) and Markus Kopp, CEO of Mitteldeutsche Airport Holding, will expand the international air cargo market, thus elevating Leipzig/Halle and O.R. Tambo international airports' status in the air transport industry. The strategic partnership involves the exchange of information and individual expertise, along with collaboration in the customer acquisition field.
