"K" Line bestows environmental awards
This is the seventh round of environmental awards since their establishment in 2015: "K" Line has accepted many entries from group companies both in Japan and overseas.
Activities of seven companies were selected based on the following criteria: "originality", "challenge level", "degree of contribution", "continuity" and "potential for pervasiveness". The companies received the awards from the shipping company's president and CEO, Yukikazu Myochin.
The winners of this year's "K" Line Group environmental awards are:
- "Grand Award" to Nitto Total Logistics: Recycling shrink films to reduce cost, industrial wastes and CO2 emissions.
- "Excellence Award" to Prixcar Services Australia, "K" Line Chinaand Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, advanced technology group.
- "Special Award" to Seagate Corporation. (amh)
