Klog joins SAE network
System Alliance Europe (SAE) is continuing to expand its general cargo cooperation. With the Portuguese provider Klog Logistics, the number of network partners has risen to 49.
In recent years, the Porto-based company has focused primarily on developing its intermodal services and its air and sea freight divisions. As a new partner of SAE, Klog now wants to increase its land-based services to North African destinations such as Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Western Sahara (Maghreb).
In Europe, Klog already works for companies in the automotive, textile, chemical, steel, ceramic, plastic, cork, packaging, and food sectors. Its customers include Ikea, Volkswagen, Continental, Stellantis - PSA Group, Inditex, Decathlon, Nestlé, Sanindusa, Amcor and Amorim Cork.
Founded in 2012, Klog generated sales of more than EUR 100 million in 2022. With 210 employees, it operates a 10,500 sqm warehouse at its headquarters in Porto and maintains a branch in Lisbon.
With Klog as a new cooperation partner, SAE members will have easier access to northern Africa, the network says. (ben)
