Kofler joins Olam for internet of logistics
Thomas Kofler has become a new board member of the Olam Foundation, headquartered in Zug (Switzerland). He joins Olam as its new vice-president for strategic business. Kofler started his career in logistics in a family-owned NVOCC and forwarder, and has been the owner and managing partner of the Feusisberg-based Swiss enterprise Symmetry Services since 2002.
For the past decade he was the sales and business development director for the DACH and GCC regions for Amber Road, a software solutions provider in global trade management. In 2016, he was one of the founding board members of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals Switzerland Round Table. Kofler now aims to push Olam’s internet of logistics project and to promote its blockchain vision. (cd)
