Kuehne + Nagel joins Budapest Airport cargo community
As a part of the EUR 160 million "BUD: 2020 development programme", Budapest airport is investing in the development of its cargo business. The airport has now welcomed Kuehne + Nagel (K+N), a major service provider in Hungary, to its cargo community, ahead of the construction of Cargo City, a new dedicated freight centre, which will commence operations this summer.
K+N, which will join the airport community next month, has leased warehouse and office space at the airport to benefit from being as close to airfreight operations as it is physically possible.
