Logisticians and operators team up for digitalisation
Kombiverkehr, DB Cargo, Lokomotion, SBB Cargo Germany, KTL Kombi-Terminal Ludwigshafen, Hupac, Hoyer, Paneuropa and Bertschi have begun work on a joint, EUR 5.87 million project named “Digitalisation of the intermodal supply chain – IM 4.0“.
The partners want to make logistics processes more transparent and clearer along the entire intermodal transport chain and across national borders.
With the aid of a common data hub that has to be developed, all participants will get direct access to parameters pertaining to transport. (ben)
