Loxx travels to Casablanca
Loxx Logistics has introduced a direct link to Casablanca (Morocco) from the logistics hub in Gelsenkirchen (Germany). Loxx provides distribution services in Morocco with its partner Ipsen Logistics, which has been established on the market in Casablanca and Tangier since 1995.
Thanks to this cooperation, the companies can transport general cargo and LTL consignments deploying either curtain-sider trucks or box trucks. In addition, they can organise dangerous goods and temperature-controlled transports to Morocco throughout the year. Currently, the trucks leave the logistics hub in Gelsenkirchen every Friday. By May, the companies plan to increase this service to four to five departures per week.
Once the trucks have reached at the Moroccan capital Tangier on the African coast, they are despatched to Ibsen Logistics' customs warehouse in Casablanca, arriving on the Monday afternoon. Then the goods are either collected by the recipients or delivered by Ipsen to the end customers. (mw)
