More capacity between London and Tel Aviv

Taking off today, 25 September 2019, the daily A330-300 flights of Virgin Atlantic between London Heathrow (UK) and Tel Aviv (Israel) will be handled on the cargo side by WTA Aviation and Swissport.

As one of Israel’s leading air cargo GSA's, WTA will be responsible for selling the 20 t of daily belly capacity, the direct service is expected to attract, like pharmaceutical, e-commerce, express and valuable shipments as well as high-tech products, fresh produce and other general cargo.

Swissport will provide cargo handling services for the airline at its 21,000 sqm warehouse terminal, which is fully equipped with temperature controlled cold and chill rooms as well as dedicated areas for valuable goods, DGR and live animals, and provides real-time technologies to optimise cargo build and for shipment tracking.
