More direct rail connections
Kombiverkehr has launched its new transport system to and from the MegaHub in Hannover Lehrte (Germany) with four national connections, thus completing the integration of its new fast transhipment facility into the operator's national and international network.
Following the arrival of the first trains from Duisburg and Ludwigshafen, incoming loading units were handled early in the morning on Wednesday, 7 April 2021, for their target destinations of Lübeck Dänischburg CTL and Lübeck Skandinavienkai.
According to Kombiverkehr, Munich-Riem and Verona Interterminal will follow on 26 April as additional dispatch and receiving stations. All terminals of this network can be connected via the MegaHub. (ben)
