More hinterland connections for port of Zeebrugge
The private rail operator Lineas has launched new daily rail services between three terminals in the port of Zeebrugge (Belgium), and Europe’s Green Xpress Network. The enhanced rail links enable the port and Lineas to work together towards the further implementation of a modal shift to rail.
Thanks to these new connections, Zeebrugge is now linked with Switzerland (Basel), Austria (Vienna, Graz/Welz), Slovakia (Bratislava), Germany (Cologne, Ludwigshafen/Mannheim), Italy (Milan), Spain (Madrid, Tarragona, Hendaye, Granollers), Czechia (Lovosice), Sweden (Malmo) and the ports of Rotterdam and Le Havre.
