More LCL services for road and rail sectors

Cargo-partner, one of the largest providers of groupage services for the road and rail sectors, recently augmented its offer for the two modes of transport.

A Nhava Sheva (India) – Gdynia (Poland) groupage service has been added to the seafreight portfolio. Nhava Sheva, less than two hours from Mumbai, is the country's largest seaport and an important hub for exports from the Indian subcontinent.

The Austrian company has been shipping containers by rail along the Silk Road for five years, and now the service provider has just added a new groupage service from northern China to Warsaw. Shipments are consolidated in Tianjin and distributed in Europe.

This latest groupage service comes on top of the existing direct LCL rail connections from Shanghai and Shenzhen. The Shanghai – Warsaw transit time is 21 days. (mw)
