More round trips to northern Italy
From 10 May 2021, TX Logistik (TXL) will be increasing the train frequency on the route between Leipzig (Germany) and Verona (Italy) via the Brenner axis from four to five round trips per week. A seventh weekly roundtrip will also be added to the Padborg (Denmark) – Verona link in June. These expansions are in response to rising demand on the Brenner axis, TXL said.
Hall in Tyrol, where the Leipzig – Verona service makes a stopover, will also be served five times a week in each direction. The train can take up to 32 loading units – including bulk and tank containers as well as swap bodies and semi-trailers. (ben)
