More services across Europe

New intermodal connections are being introduced by the Austria-based Railcargo Group. The company is extending its portfolio by two round trips per week between the Vienna South freight centre and Piadena (Italy). The terminal in Lombardy is located in the catchment area of Verona, Brescia, Parma and Cremona, four industrial centres in northern Italy.

Railcargo is also introducing a new Lodz (Poland) - Istanbul (Turkey) train service offering two round trips per week. Istanbul is a major cross-docking hub with links to the southern Silk Road. (ben)
