More than an H2 filling station

Maier Korduletsch, Paul Group and Shell have opened a hydrogen mobility hub in Passau, Germany. In addition to conventional fuels, the filling station offers two H2 fuel pumps with 350 bar for trucks as well as twelve HPC fast charging points for cars and trucks.

The mobility hub is equipped with a powerful 230 kWp photovoltaic system and an intelligent energy management system. The facilities are used for the companies’ own needs and energy trading in the intra-day electricity market.

In parallel with the hub opening, Paul Group is putting its H2 fuel cell truck on the road and Shell is launching a complete package with vehicle, fuel card and insurance via a pay-per-use model for business customers. (ben)
