Moving into the top bulk transport league
get link The Hoyer and H&S groups are joining forces and setting up a joint venture in the bulk liquid foodstuff sector. H&S is purchasing a 51% stake in Hoyer’s Foodlog activities in Germany, and the shareholding will be integrated in the new JV, which will start trading under the name H&H Foodlog on 1 November 2017. The move will create a strong pan-European network.
The new JV expects to generate an annual turnover of around EUR 175 million with some 350 employees, 1,600 bulk tank containers. 175 road tankers and 200 trucks. Its sheer size will turn it into one of the three top bulk liquid transporters in the European market. (ben)
