New blocktrain connecting China and Europe
Ceva Logistics has launched a new rail service linking Shilong in southern China's Guangdong province to Hamburg (Germany). Together with the Chinese state railway company, the new regular blocktrain service will run via Shilong, Manzhouli (China), Zabaykalsk (Russia), Brest (Belarus), Malaszewice (Poland) and Hamburg with a station-to-station lead time of 17 to 19 days.
The new year-round service solution will be up to two days shorter compared to other routes, and will also deliver cost savings. Ceva first initiated its China-to-Europe rail services in 2010 through its "northern route". (ben)
