New CEP link from USA to Europe
The e-commerce boom continues. The DPD group has formed a strategic partnership with Asendia USA to provide e-commerce parcel delivery services from USA to Europe. Asendia is a joint venture of the Groupe La Poste and Swiss Post, delivering to about 200 destinations globally.
Under the agreement, the two companies will offer range of international packet and parcel services designed for online retailers.
The joint service aims to give US retailers access to delivery into the largest European e-commerce markets (France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Spain and UK) in a range of three to five business days. (sh)
