New equipment for Servicios Logisticos Portuarios
Servicios Logisticos Portuarios SLP, a cargo handler at the port of Bilbao, is purchasing five heavy-duty forklift trucks. Their manufacturer Kalmar will have completed the deliveries by early Q3/2019. A number of older Kalmar forklifts are already in service at the Spanish port.
The five new units, which will primarily be used to handle steel mill products such as plates and coils, have a 33 t lifting capacity.
The vehicles have EGO cabins for excellent visibility in all directions, easily accessible service points to make maintenance faster and easier, and a stable, versatile control system that offers a wide range of possibilities for customising the truck functions. (kd)
