New healthcare and logistics facility at JFK
MNX Global Logistics has opened a healthcare and life sciences supply chain and logistics facility next to JFK airport in New York City. The facility, with validated temperature-controlled supply chain capabilities, will serve as MNX's operations and warehousing hub for life sciences and medical device customers throughout northeastern USA.
MNX said that the 1,200 sqm, GDP-compliant facility was designed to exceed the highest standards for the handling and movement of biopharmaceutical, radiopharmaceutical and medical device shipments. The facility features areas cooled to –20ºC, 2–8ºC, and additional temperature-controlled storage options, with 24/7 monitoring, back-up systems and security features.
