New package delivery facility in Houston
The new UPS Willowbrook package delivery facility in northwest Houston has created 575 new full and part-time jobs. Now operating at full capacity, the platform significantly increases UPS’s delivery fleet serving Houston TX, the USA's fourth most populated city.
Home to the largest medical complex in the world, Houston area-based healthcare and life sciences businesses benefit from enhanced delivery speed and accuracy from the new centre’s advanced package scanning and sortation equipment.
Spanning 24,000 sqm the UPS Willowbrook complex includes a retail customer service centre, a truck wash with a water reclamation system and an automotive repair shop that sits on a 27.5 ha plot of land. (mw)
