New Rotterdam - Bad Bentheim/Coevorden shuttle train


The terminal operator CTT and the rail service provider Bentheimer Eisenbahn are offering a new shuttle service between Rotterdam (Netherlands), Bad Bentheim (Germany) and Euroterminal Coevorden (Netherlands). The train has a 90 teu capacity and will initially make three round trips per week, according to the local press. Traction is provided by the German train operator Locon.

 

CTT is in charge of transport management, as well as the container delivery and collection to/from Bad Bentheim, for the new shuttle service. The operator of the new offer expects to handle an annual volume of 25,000 teu in both directions. (ben)
