New train between Zeebrugge and northern France

As from 12 February 2019, the Belgium port of Zeebrugge will have a rail connection to the Delta 3 multimodal platform in Dourges, in northern France.

From Dourges there are rail connections to destinations in southern Europe, such as Bordeaux, Avignon, Lyon, Bayonne, Toulouse, Perpignan, Miramas/Marseille/Fos.

From the Paris hub there are connections to Novara and Turin in Italy. The new rail service will offer three round trips per week. The blocktrains will be handled at the P&O Ferries' terminal in Zeebrugge's outer port. Greenmodal Transport and Novatrans will be the rail operators. (ben)
