New warehouse at port of Hamburg

Last Thursday Goodman, a developer and manager of logistics real estate, announced the continuation of its expansion course in the port of Hamburg: it is planning a 35,000 sqm logistics centre - including 3,000 sqm of mezzanine space and 2,000 sqm in office and communal areas - in the southern part of the area of Hamburg. At the beginning of 2018 units from some 5,000 sqm will be available. The new logistics centre is its third project in Hamburg. The ground breaking ceremony will take place in May 2017.

Uwe Weidemann, head of marketing and project development at Hamburg Port Authority welcomed the new development: “With its range of high-quality, sustainably built, flexible logistics properties, Goodman is contributing significantly to improving the attractiveness of the Port of Hamburg as a key logistics location.” (rf)
