NLA to support start-ups in Hamburg
Hamburg has a new startup accelerator for the logistics industry. The enterprise - Next Logistics Accelerator (NLA) - is now ready for “take-off”. It will provide active support to start-up founders from all over the world and help them develop their business model and prepare for the next stage of growth. At the same time, NLA will give the fledgling enterprises important contacts in the industry.
Hamburg’s economics senator, Frank Horch, is delighted: “In addition to financial support, the NLA offers new firms access to a comprehensive network.”
NLA investors include, Fr. Meyer’s Sohn, Helm, HHLA, Jungheinrich, Körber and Rhenus. “The NLA fund was substantially oversubscribed,” reported Andreas Mansfeld, chief representative of the Hamburg-based bank Haspa. (kd)
