Obert to drive change in Rhenus management board

After nearly 20 years as member of the management board of the German logistics service provider Rhenus, Michael Brockhaus has decided to quit his board activities on 31 March 2021. He started as CFO in 2002 and managed the warehousing solutions and automotive departments since 2008.

Brockhaus will remain connected with the family-owned company Rethmann as future member of the Saria supervisory board. His successor, Karsten Obert (photo), will take over his duties on 1 January. He will manage his responsibilities from the Rhenus-headquarters in Holzwickede, North Rhine-Westphalia.

Marco Schröter, chairman of the supervisory board of Rhenus SE & Co.KG: "With his many years of experience in the management of a global automotive supplier and his responsible activity in a leading e-commerce company, he knows our customers and their needs." (amh)
