Qatar Airways Cargo: more Webcargo options
Starting today, 30 June 2021, Qatar Airways Cargo is introducing Webcargo by Freightos in Europe (excluding Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia, Slovakia and Slovenia). Forwarders will be able to conduct eBookings with access to live rates and available capacity on Webcargo.
Since the launch in February 2021, the carrier has received a large number of eBookings via the platform and is now increasing the total count of countries in the airline’s network on the platform to 32.
Guillaume Halleux, Qatar Airways chief officer cargo: "Our aim is to gradually roll out Webcargo throughout our global network during the year, providing convenience and transparency to our customers. This will bring in more efficiencies in the supply chain and provide multiple benefits for our customers." (ah)
