Rhenus Data Office takes over recycle it
Rhenus Data Office, which specialises in the destruction of documents and data carriers as well as value-added logistics services, has taken over the company recycle it. For 30 years recycle it has focused on the recycling und remarketing of IT equipment and the mobile destruction of hard discs. Recycle it is headquartered in Eppishausen (Bavaria, Germany) and operates across the country.
“With this purchase we extend our net of competence centres and our know-how concerning the reutilisation of IT assets. We can thus offer our customers an even more reliable service portfolio, not least with regard to compliance with current legislation for waste disposal,” says Nils Thiemann, managing director of Rhenus Fecomp, a joint venture of Rhenus Data Office.
“Thanks to the takeover we gain access to more customers, whom we can offer comprehensive support and sustainable solutions for the entire life cycle of IT devices,” adds Maximilian Scheppach, managing director of recycle it. (mw)
