Russian group acquires South African rail facility
Transmashholding (TSH), headquartered in Russia, has acquired a 45,000 sqm rolling stock manufacturing facility in Boksburg (South Africa), from DCD Group.
Boksburg, now the TMH Group narrow gauge plant, will become Africa’s gateway production site for assembling, maintaining and refurbishing rolling stock.
TMH will continue to deliver innovative diesel and electric locomotives as well as coaches in South Africa and the rest of the continent.
