Saudia Cargo boosts Nairobi - Amsterdam trade lane
Saudia Cargo is boosting its freighter capacity by 25% on the prime route from Nairobi (Kenya) to Amsterdam (Netherlands) this month (February). The carrier is operating at least six extra B747F flights to accommodate the heightened export market demand for Kenyan flowers into Europe during this traditional peak period.
The extra frequencies that complement the Middle Eastern airline's existing six weekly scheduled B747F frequencies, result in an increased monthly consolidated capacity of 3,000 t on that key traffic lane.
"Saudia Cargo's strong schedule on time performance and continuous proven ability to deploy extra frequencies during such seasonal peak periods has enhanced our position as a leading carrier in the Kenyan airfreight market," commented Ken Mbogo (photo), Saudia Cargo's regional director Africa.
