Saudia Cargo links Shanghai and New Delhi
Saudi Airlines Cargo launched a new direct freighter service between Shanghai (China) and New Delhi (India) earlier this month. The twice weekly link provides scheduled main deck capacity using B747-400F aircraft.
"Our focus is to improve connectivity and provide a growing network of destinations and quality operations to our customers and the new direct service has been specifically designed to fulfil customers' needs and requirements in both cities," said Vikram Vohra (photo), Saudia's regional director Far East. He went on to say, "if demand increases from China to India, we will definitely step up our frequencies."
With the introduction of the new Shanghai-Delhi service, Saudia Cargo has further consolidated its position as a leading freighter operator from China to the Middle East and beyond. Today, the company offers its Chinese shippers 900 t of capacity per week from Shanghai and Guangzhou.
