Ship Serv appoints Henrik Hyldahn as CEO

Ship Serv, a maritime e-procurement platform, has appointed Henrik Hyldahn as its new CEO. Former CEO Kim Skaarup will join the board as vice chairman. Hyldahn was previously Ship Serv’s chief solutions officer and will be charged with taking the company through its next phase of growth, following a very successful period of development over the past few years.

Hyldahn joined Ship Serv in 2017 and was promoted to chief solutions officer the following year. Prior to working with Ship Serv, he was chief information officer at the global maritime services group Seven Seas and managing director at the technical and strategic consultancy Cubisol.

Commenting on his appointment, Hyldahn, CEO, Ship Serv, said: “There are huge opportunities for Ship Serv to continue its rate of growth and the positive impact that it can have on the market. The company is a mature organisation and I want to increase its collaboration and engagement with key stakeholders across technical and procurement functions, with a profound understanding of their pressures and demands."
