Shopping spree continues
After Friday's (14 June 2013) news of UASC's intention to place an order for up to17 ULCVs at a South Korean shipyard, rumour has it that MSC is to join the new building frenzy. The Swiss carrier might choose to have four 9,400 teu containerships built at a Chinese yard. The French company CMA CGM also has signed a letter of intent for three 16,000 teu vessels, plus three options.
