Sichuan Airlines adding another Australian airport
China-based Sichuan Airlines is introducing a Chongqing – Sydney service that starts on 20 December 2013. The carrier is offering twice weekly flights with Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
Founded in 1986, the Chengdu-based airline launched its first long-haul overseas route in June 2012 with flights from its Chengdu hub to Vancouver (Canada, in photo). Its second long-haul flight, from Chengdu to Melbourne (Australia), began last February.
