Swissport banks on experience


Glenn Rutherford, Swissport EVP for Asia-Pacific, has decided to leave the company at the end of 2021 after 23 years of service.

 

His successor Brad Moore (photo) brings extensive international experience as an airline executive, most recently as Qatar Airways SVP ground operations. During his career, he also led the ground handling business, commercial and operations departments at Air Canada and Qantas.

 

Rutherford: "Post-Covid, the opportunities in this part of the world are very exciting and I am confident that Moore is the right person for the job." Swissport expects air traffic to regain to its pre-pandemic momentum relatively quickly and it hopes to improves its presence in both Asia and Oceania. (amh)
