Taiwan - Europe: new FCL and LCL offer
Russian-based Far East Land Bridge (Felb) has created a new weekly tri-modal service from Taiwan to Europe. Cargo is initially forwarded on a shortsea vessel from Taiwan to mainland China, then trucked to Suzhou, near Shanghai (China).
After that 10 – 11 day leg, goods are sent by train from Suzhou to Warsaw, from where they can be delivered to any location in Europe, according to Felb.
Westbound, the train first crosses the Chinese-Russian border Zabaikalsk/Manzhouli, then runs through Russia to Brest/Malaszewice on the Belarus-Polish border. That trip takes 17-19 days. The total transit time is 27-29 days, and FELB offers both FCL and LCL options. (ben)
