Testing the world's first AI-powered robotic cargo system

Two Singapore-based partners, the ground-handling company Sats and the research platform for the improvement of Singapore's public transportation TUM Create, are exploring commercialisation opportunities for "Speedcargo", the world's first artificial intelligence (AI) powered robotic air cargo system, to help digitalise air cargo handling and transform laborious processes for the freight industry.

Using the integrated solution comprising three products – "cargo eye", "cargo mind" and "cargo arm" – airlines could optimise their cargo hold based on volume, weight and other criteria with a click. The AI-powered operating system promises to enable seamless data connectivity for end-to-end optimisation and improves safety and security across cargo operations. (ah)
