Thai selects Unilode for full ULD management
Thai Airways has appointed Unilode Aviation Solutions as its full-service ULD management provider, a milestone in Thai's post-rehabilitation transformation.
Under a multi-year deal, Unilode will deliver global ULD pooling, maintenance and repair, and real-time digital tracking to improve asset utilisation and reliability across passenger and cargo operations. The partnership supports Thai’s five-year plan focused on operational excellence, fleet renewal and digitalisation, targeting ~150 aircraft by 2033.
Pooling within Unilode’s network reduces the number of ULDs needed, cuts raw material use and emissions, and extends lifecycles via centralised repairs. Unilode’s Operations Control Centre in Bangkok and 50 certified repair stations back the rollout.
