Trimodal service between Russia and India
Trans Container has launched a regular service for foreign trade cargo shipments on a multimodal route between Russia and the Indian port of Nhava Sheva (Mumbai) via Novorossiysk at the Eastern coast of the Black Sea and the Suez Canal.
Cargoes arriving at Nutep Terminal in Novorossiysk by rail and road will be forwarded to India once a month in accordance with a coordinated schedule, the company said.
The new service will export mainly papers, coiled steel and abrasives from Russia, while importing electric appliances, non-dangerous chemicals, textile, tiles and food. (ben)
