TRL CEO Rob Wallis steps down

After six years as CEO of TRL, the UK’s Transport Research Laboratory, and also CEO of its parent company, the Transport Research Foundation (TRF), Rob Wallis has informed the TRF Board of his wish to step down.

Accordingly, the TRF Board has begun a transition process to select and appoint Rob’s successor, which is expected to occur later this year. In the interim, Wallis continues fully with his responsibilities as CEO.

TRF chairman Charles Rice said: “I would like to pay tribute to Wallis’ leadership and vision for TRL. He has overseen a multi-year transformation of the business, building on its world-renowned heritage in delivering innovation, while creating strong market relevance and credibility in today’s opportunities within new mobility.” (mw)
