Turkish Cargo carries horde of predators
Four tigers, three lions, three cheetahs, two lynxes and one cougar were recently transported by Turkish Cargo from Prague to Istanbul, as part of the carrier's special cargo services.
Taking the uttermost care, the Turkish all-cargo carrier shipped the predators, taken from the Biopark ŠTÍT wildlife support and breeding facility in Czechia, to Turkey. The animals were accompanied by their keepers, specially-assigned veterinarians and Iata live animals regulations (LAR) certificated airline personnel.
By ratifying the "United For Wildlife (Buckingham Palace) Declaration" in 2017 for the purpose of preventing illegal wildlife trade and increasing the industrial awareness thereof, Turkish Airlines once again highlighted its knowledge of live animal transport processes and animal rights. (ah)
